Neck Romancer

Style: Horror Serif

About:

The Neck Romancer typeface is based on sharp edges and points. The first characters I designed were the capital F and P, which look like axes. I added the suggestion of fangs, stakes, axe heads, bat wings, and Gothic cathedral arches to the shapes of the characters to invoke the vampire theme.

The name of the typeface is a pun based on the word “necromancer” since vampires like to bite necks.

Uses:

The Neck Romancer font was used for the track listing and credits on the AncolagE dark ambient album Desolation.

Neck Romancer was also used for the label of the Call Me By Your Pain Belgian Ale by Double Mountain Brewing.
